Dénouement: The Case for Beauty in Art, a Contemporary Conceptual Taboo?
Artist Statement
Keara Ryanne Henry is a recent MFA graduate from Columbus College of Art & Design. She is fascinated by in-between spaces, popular culture, patterns, and literature. Her work involves layering vibrant colors and biomorphic shapes to investigate the liminal space between intuitive creation and illustrative technique. Henry's work coalesces elements of memory, emotive response, and mutable energy into compositions both familiar and alien, spontaneous and intentional.
